Lambs

A "Lamb project" is a great way to introduce young people to the livestock program.  Lambs require less space than hogs and steers, and lambs are easier to bond with.  There is a good deal of training and work that needs to be done with lambs to prepare them for a show.   But the size of the animal and their nature ussually make it more enjoyable for smaller youth.
